Gentle reminder
Take picture. Keep voicemails. Send cards. Hand write letters. Be mushy with your friends. Tell people you love them even if you're not sure its reciprocated. Be vulnerable. Feeling awkward or rejection is scary and can be heart breaking, but nothing hurts like losing someone you care about. The pics and videos and knowing they know how you felt won't take away the pain AT ALL, but its a tangible reminder of the good memories.
