We here now though! I was still kinda struggling with a topics, but then I was reading my email newsletters and a this popped up:
"The more we embrace that fact (because, yes, it is a fact) the more we can understand that nobody is perfect. And if nobody is perfect, WHY are we so hard on ourselves? Why are we champions for others and their missions but we don’t go as hard for ourselves?"
Let me hit this one more time for y'all in the back.... Why are we champions for others and their missions but we don’t go as hard for ourselves?
One of my oldest friends (oldest as in length of friendship, not her length of years on earth) hit me up the other day and told me she caught up with my emails, and that I have a gift. I think she was exaggerating but hearing it was nice. I needed the external push. Then I saw this and I was like but WHY do I need the external push? I can give everything I got to support my friends endeavors, but not even a quarter to my own.
*All of you who have known me for years or are my closest friends... please keep your eye rolls and your "I BEEN told you this". Thanks*
